Kolectiv & Mauoq drop the Political EP on Rebel Music. The longtime friends join forces for this four tracker covering a range of sound.

The bluesy, jazzed out stylings of title track 'Deep Inside' kick the EP off and features the elegant vocals of Roxi Yung, 'Political' is a no nonsense dance-floor escapade sure to give any bassbin a solid test. 'So Fine' is a stripped back progressive stepper, sprinkled with distorted bass and melancholic chords. Rounding off the release is 'Data Vibe', showcasing the trios half time work. Deep atmospherics, grooves and intricate breaks are the all shown in abundance.

Another class piece from Break. The original was good when it hit. The Bad Company remix was next level and this one to me is a close race for best remix of this classic. This one to me has the most gnarly drop of all. Like his formula is to sneak up on you with the drop and he accomplishes that mission over and over and over again. I've been collecting Break & Silent Witness tracks when I started buying records over 20 years ago. mrmonoxide
